Highlights 2024 - One Sustainable Health for All Foundation

The year 2024 was marked by ambitious projects for the OSH Forum, led by the One Sustainable Health for All Foundation. Here are some key milestones:

Publication of the One Sustainable Health for All Declaration

Consolidating the recommendations of the six International Working Groups (IWG) of the OSH Forum for the 2021-2023 biennium.

Launch of 10 new International Working Groups

for the 2024-2026 biennium, with a more operational approach to implementing recommendations and best practices.

New sheltering foundation

Transition of the One Sustainable Health for All Foundation, which has been hosted by the Institut Pasteur since July 4, following three years under the aegis of the Bullukian Foundation in Lyon. This transition marks a significant step in expanding the OSH Forum’s international reach and structuring the international OSH Institutes network project.

 

+ 150 members in the OSH Forum

The OSH Forum now has 150+ members from over 30 countries. These organizations support the Forum’s development and will be invited to endorse the recommendations of the 10 International Working Groups in 2026, at the conclusion of the second biennium launched in 2024.

Development of a project for an international network of One Sustainable Health Institutes

Development of a project for an international network of One Sustainable Health Institutes. Several conferences with academic and governement experts were held in ten different countries including China, Brazil, Morocco, and several in Eastern and Western Europe. They have raised awareness within civil society, as well as the private and public sectors, about the pertinence of a World Network of OSH Institutes for advancing the operational implementation of the global One Sustainable Health agenda and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

OSH by All Dakar 2024

The second One Sustainable Health for All Forum (OSH by All Dakar 2024) was successfully organized in partnership with the Galien Forum Africa, Enda Santé, and AFD, with the support of our foundation partners, including Foundation S, Fondation de France, Fondation Pierre Fabre, and others.

One Europe for Global Health (OEGH) Coalition's milestones

The One Europe for Global Health (OEGH) coalition, initiated by the OSH Forum, compile and communicate information on One Sustainable Health from various EU countries, continues its progress since its launch in 2022, with a session held every six months in the country presiding over the European Union: Université de Louvain in Belgium on April 23 and the Hungarian Research Network (HUN-REN) with the Academy of Sciences in the context of the World Science Forum on November 20.

Organisation of 13 international events

In 2024, over 13 international events were organized by the One Sustainable Health for All Foundation, thanks to the support of its strategic partners, including the French Development Agency (AFD), Foundation S, Fondation de France, Fondation SNCF, Fondation Pierre Fabre, Fondation Bilger, as well as the Institut Pasteur and Institut Mérieux. The Foundation’s representatives have also presented or taken part in a dozen other congresses around the world, organized on topics relating to “One Sustainable Health”.
