OSH FORUM

The ambition of the OSH Forum

The One Sustainable Health (OSH) Forum is unique in its work to prevent and adapt human practices in response to our health, environmental and social challenges.

In the face of these health, environmental and social challenges, its aim is to influence public and private policy in favour of sustainable health for all, by bringing together science, society and solidarity.

It is supported by the Sustainable Health for All Foundation, established on 1 September 2020 in Lyon in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The three main objectives of the OSH Forum

To unite a community of public and private international transdisciplinary experts, around the challenges of One Health / Planetary Health and in connection with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.

Develop and lead thematic International Working Groups (IWGs) to formulate operational recommendations illustrated by pilot projects and support the evolution of public policies.
Organize events, awareness-raising activities, and training sessions to promote the OSH approach and support its implementation. In collaboration with the OSH Factory, the operational implementation of the recommendations made by the International Working Groups (IWGs), these gatherings bring together researchers, institutions, businesses, local authorities, and civil society stakeholders to develop concrete solutions.

Functioning of the OSH Forum

The international collaborative dynamic of the OSH Forum is based on the action of two complementary groups :

  • on the one hand, the “Experts” who are members of the International Thematic Working Groups (IWGs)
  • on the other hand, Member “Organisations” that support the development of the OSH Forum and are invited to endorse the recommendations proposed by the IWG experts.

International Working Groups

The International Working Groups were launched in July 2021. They bring together experts from different disciplines, to work in a collaborative and interdisciplinary spirit on recommendations for one sustainable health for all. A new 2-year work cycle starts in 2024 and will result in a new publication of recommendations in January 2026.
