With the explosive development of AI capabilities, finding correlations across massive amounts of data from multiple sources is suddenly within our grasp \u2014 but\u00a0HI<\/strong>*\u00a0is needed to make it possible. This requires agreeing on equitable ways of sharing and using data toward that end.<\/p>\n To address this, a webinar entitled\u00a0“Harnessing One Health Data”<\/em>\u00a0was organised on 17 March during the Festival around the One Health Summit in Lyon, with the aim of contributing to the\u00a0“One Health Data Convergence Declaration of Intent”<\/em>\u00a0\u2014 a key deliverable requested by the \u00c9lys\u00e9e. Our World Network of OSH Forum Leads was mobilised alongside over 150 specialists from our global network, all of whom have been involved in discussions and actions around One Digital Health and its associated challenges. In total, input was received from over 20 countries. Participants presented clear examples of the importance of collecting, storing, curating, securing, sharing, and analysing data on issues relating to One Sustainable Health.\u00a0<\/p>\n This global webinar brought together key stakeholders from human, animal and environmental health across all regions of the world to explore how data convergence can strengthen the prediction, prevention and response to health risks.<\/p>\n Participants highlighted the critical value of integrating health, environmental and climate data, and shared real-world examples of successful cross-sector data use. Discussions also addressed key challenges including data governance, interoperability, ethics, equity, security and international data sharing.<\/p>\n There was broad consensus that enabling trusted and responsible data sharing across sectors is essential to improving global health outcomes and supporting One Health implementation.
