locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<div class=\"content-read\">\n<p>The One Sustainable Health (OSH) Forum is unique in its efforts to prevent and adapt human practices in response to today&#8217;s health, environmental and social challenges.<\/p>\n<p>In response to these health, environmental and social challenges, its objective is to influence public and private policies in support of sustainable health for all by bringing together science, society and solidarity.<\/p>\n<p>Our work consists of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bringing together and mobilising a committed transdisciplinary community to address our health, environmental and social challenges (One Sustainable Health), in line with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/li>\n<li>Promoting and raising the profile of the One Sustainable Health approach at local, national and international levels in order to influence public and private policies in support of sustainable health for all.<\/li>\n<li>Encouraging the creation and implementation of innovative operational projects through the development of the OSH Hub.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Since 3 November 2025, the OSH Forum has given rise to the OSH Hub to further increase the implementation of transdisciplinary projects across borders, in connection with the 2030 SDGs.<\/p>\n<p>The OSH Forum &amp; Hub are supported by the One Sustainable Health for All Foundation (USDT), established on 1 September 2020 in Lyon under the aegis of the Bullukian Foundation, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>The mission of the USDT Foundation is to \u201cincrease dialogue and innovative projects between public and private stakeholders in support of sustainable health for all\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Since 4 July 2024, the One Sustainable Health for All Foundation has been placed under the aegis of the Institut Pasteur.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><button class=\"read-more-btn\">Read more<\/button><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243; custom_padding_tablet=&#8221;&#8221; custom_padding_phone=&#8221;|4%||4%|false|true&#8221; custom_padding_last_edited=&#8221;on|phone&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"margin-bottom: 15px;\">The cost of inaction is documented, massive, and growing<\/h3>\n<p>Prevention costs guided by the One Health approach are estimated at between $10.3 and $11.5 billion per year \u2014 less than 1% of the cost of the COVID-19 pandemic response in 2020 alone.<\/p>\n<p>Conversely, One Health prevention measures offer an estimated annual return on investment of up to 86%.<\/p>\n<p>The FAO and the World Bank estimate that One Health efforts could generate at least $37 billion per year for the global community.<\/p>\n<p>The equation is simple. One Sustainable Health is not an additional cost \u2014 it is the best investment our societies can make.<\/p>\n<p>Civil society organizations are mobilizing around this shared advocacy effort to influence public and private policies and actions.<\/p>\n<p>Acting now costs infinitely less than dealing with the consequences tomorrow!<\/p>\n<p><em style=\"color: #5f6368;\">Sources : OMS \u2014 WHO Fact Sheet One Health ;
